Building safe homes. Restoring dignity. Transforming families.
Honduras is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. Many of the families we serve live in homes made of cardboard or plastic, often without running water or proper sanitation. Most survive on less than $200 per month, when work is available.
Through Homes for Hope, we build safe, durable Caribbean-style homes with concrete floors, painted walls, and a secure roof that protects families from the elements. Each home creates stability, dignity, and a foundation for a better future.
The cost of building one home is $4,500 USD, covering local labor, materials, tools, and construction oversight.
